Hojung Jun joins the Tokyo International Law Office team.
We are pleased to announce that Hojung Jun has joined the Tokyo International Law Office team.
Hojung is a construction and project development expert with a multilingual and multicultural background. Since 2009, she has worked in Japan, Singapore, Korea, and the US, advising top-tier clients on project development, cross-border M&A, and joint ventures in the power (conventional and renewable) and infrastructure sectors worldwide. She also brings extensive experience from both private practice and in-house roles, having been seconded to major Japanese companies and serving as in-house counsel at a leading construction firm.
Her practice focuses on construction law, including preparing and negotiating contracts, using various model contract forms (such as FIDIC and ENAA), and handling international dispute resolution. She has worked on significant projects, including offshore and onshore wind farms, battery energy storage systems, port terminals, LNG facilities, critical mineral mines, and associated O&M arrangements across Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, CIS countries, Europe, and the Middle East. Recently, she has advised clients on energy transition and decarbonization strategies, including carbon credit trading and development projects in multiple jurisdictions.
