We are pleased to announce that Michael Lynch has joined the Tokyo International Law Office team.

Michael is a Japan market corporate law specialist and a registered Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi. He brings a wealth of experience having predominantly advised Japanese clients on outbound transactions over the last 13 years in Tokyo.  

Michael is an alumnus of several major global law firms, having worked in both London and Tokyo, where he has developed a broad range of transaction experience, specifically in the energy and infrastructure sectors and is also regularly involved in general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael joins the firm from SoftBank Group Corp. in Tokyo, where he served as Senior Legal Counsel.  In this capacity, Michael managed various legal matters, including overseas renewable energy project development and financing, M&A transactions and intellectual property matters.

With his background as both external and in-house counsel, Michael is able to provide pragmatic and commercially oriented legal support in order to satisfy the individual needs of our clients.
